Even though I am riding to help support the fight for kids cancer research, maybe through that research, cancer of all types can be more readily understood and eradicated. As you read this, one of my closest friends is scheduled to have surgery, and we are all going to uplift them in positive thoughts and prayers. When it hits close to you, you want to help with awareness of cancer and the ongoing fight to cure the dreaded disease. It's been 17 years since my mother passed. My sister in law passed because of cancer. It's been 36 years since my wife's breast cancer. Along with other friends that have battled, and are so far winning the fight. No one is immune to the C-word.....Let's all make the push to better understand cancer, and eliminate it!
