I'm Riding For
Melissa
I am riding for Melissa, a dear friend who battled cancer for over a decade. I admire her strength and courage. Melissa lost her battle with cancer last year. I will continue to ride to honor her legacy while fundraising for Children’s Cancer Research. Melissa was a bad-ass and I am grateful for this opportunity to ride in memory of her this year. I will be riding to honor her strength, courage, and how she fought so hard for so many years against this beast called cancer. Melissa, I LOVE you so much and you were taken far too soon. Rest in peace my friend ❤️
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
