This is Year 4 for me to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! It has been a great experience and gratifying that so many of my friends and family have supported me for this great cause.

I'm getting back in the saddle once again this year. Why? I am so fortunate that I have three healthy grandchildren, but cancer is still the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. We have almost 16,000 children diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living their lives, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my Challenge to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
