Another beautiful morning for a spin with Kelly and 18.5 miles! I have officially crossed over the 150-mile mark (in six days)! We forgot to take our picture when we rode, so we improvised on a snapshot on the way home. 😊Keep those donations coming, and I will keep spending the miles away! 🚴‍♀️🙏

We had another beautiful, breezy day to ride. Lynn, Lou, and I rode to Hookerton and around Lenoir County and got in another 29 miles today! I’m so thankful to share the miles with them! I really appreciate their kindness and fellowship! 🤗🚴‍♀️❤️

Since I have to manually enter my miles, here’s a picture of my bike computer for the last five rides. Just in case you were wondering if I was really putting in the miles. I promise I am working hard to get the miles done. 😊 🚴‍♀️

It was a double ride morning for me! Kelly and I added another 15 miles to the total which puts me over the 100 mile mark in four days! 🙌 I am trying to get the miles done while the weather and schedules allow. Keep the donations and prayers coming! 🚴‍♀️🙏

Another windy 💨 day for a ride, but a ride with friends makes for a good ride. 😊We got in another 18 miles this morning! We are spinning away the miles! 🚴‍♀️🙌❤️

Ride #3

First ride with Kelly in this year’s Challenge! It was quite the blustery ride with the NNE winds today💨but we did it! I kept thinking of the kids fighting cancer and how much harder their fight is and that motivated me to push through the wind. 💪I added another 22 miles to my total! Lynn and Lou even joined us for a few laps. I am so thankful for my husband and friends that help me get my miles completed each year! 😊 I’ve got 378 miles to go so keep the donations and prayers coming! 🚴‍♀️🙏🙌

Ride #2

I had a great group ride with some of the Big Wheel Cyclists group this morning. It was a much cooler day although still a bit humid. It’s always a good ride with the BWC. 😊I checked off another 30 miles today…so I am well on my way with 50 miles done! Keep the support and prayers coming! 🚴‍♀️🙏

Today marks the start of the Great Cycle Challenge! This is my SIXTH year participating. My goals this year are to ride 450 miles and raise $3000 for this very worthy cause.

Since the weather forecast for this afternoon was really hot, I decided to start my day on my bike. I had a great solo ride for 20 miles (in spite of showing up with two right-hand gloves 😝). It was a beautiful sunrise to witness and a time of prayer for the kids fighting this awful disease. I am now only 430 miles from my mileage goal. I look forward to all of the miles to come. 🚴‍♀️

Since I am no longer on social media, I know it won’t be as easy to spread the word out about my challenge, but I know God is faithful. If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it. 🙌 If you can help share my personal profile page with your friends, I would appreciate it.
