This September, I'm taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge and Pedal for Hope to help fight cancer and support families facing battles no one should have to endure.

Cancer has touched my life in far too many ways. I've watched too many friends and loved ones face this disease. I lost both of my parents to cancer, and today, Scott's dad is courageously fighting his own battle. Like so many families, we know the heartache, uncertainty, and strength that cancer brings.

That's why I'm riding.

While Great Cycle Challenge specifically raises funds for childhood cancer research, every mile I ride is for the children fighting for their futures, for the families standing beside them, and for everyone whose life has been impacted by cancer.

Kids should be focused on school, friends, dreams, and adventures—not hospital rooms, treatments, and fear. Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer, and they need our help.

Through this challenge, I'm raising funds for the Children's Cancer Research Fund to support lifesaving research, better treatments, and the hope of a cure.
