I was reminded by my family how much cancer has affected us. To me, this is more fuel to the fire to work even harder for this great cause. It helps remind me that there is so much good being done in this world! Thank you everyone for your compassion, support and generosity!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer, for the 5th year in a row! I need your help. I have lofty goals again this year to support this amazing cause. Thank you to those of you who have donated this year and in past years. I cannot do it without your help!

My motivation in life is to not only help those who need it most but also to promote a healthy lifestyle by adding in daily physical activity. We are all human and are meant to move... and plus it just feels good! I talk about this at our Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping gym in Maple Grove almost daily... if you are not taking care of yourself, how can you help out anyone else? That said, if you want to join me, DM me and let's get some miles in. We are stronger together!

Why am I doing this for the 5th year? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. We ALL know people who are struggling with some form or another of cancer. I am raising funds through this challenge to help these kids and support the Children's Cancer Research Fund. This allows them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and help find a cure for childhood cancer.
