HELP END DIPG

This September, the team Riding 4 Juliana is once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States, with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma or DIPG as the deadliest of all pediatric cancers. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. DIPG alone is responsible for an annual death of rate of roughly 400 to 600 children. It devastated lives and families with no effective therapies in sight.

Juliana was a beautiful, loving young lady, full of life. She was an avid athlete, swimming in the local Fort Collins CO team FAST, and a cyclist and runner. A dedicated student and friend to all. She had a goal of becoming a veterinarian and scientist. She was diagnosed with DIPG in February 2018 and passed 53 weeks later. DIPG took her life and shattered her dreams.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow kids like Juliana a chance for survival by identifying effective therapies against DIPG and similar brain tumors.
