Cecilia Crockett
After tremendous grit and determination, Cecilia lost her battle to cancer this past July at the tender age of 5 years old. Her smile and spirit brought joy and light to everyone she met, and her memory continues to do so.
My Story
Its that time of year again! Time for the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! During the last 3 challenges I helped raise over $44,000.00 with the help of generous donors like you! This year, I am riding again in memory of my friend, Cecilia Crockett. I am sad to say that Cecilia lost her battle to cancer this past July at the tender age of 5 years old.
Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids like Cecilia and to support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
