I will be taking part in the June, 2020 Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This will be my sixth year participating in the event.
Why do I ride more than 500 miles in a month? Because cancer has touch too many of us - and we are all someone's child. I was recently reminded of this when visiting my 91 year old mother. She called me "her baby" and I am 68!
My first (and only) grandchild is just two years old. I can't imagine her having to fight such an insidious disease. Yet, there are parents and grandparents having to do just that. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am once again raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and to support Children's Cancer Research Fund. The money you donate will allow them to continue their work in funding lifesaving research to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
Your support does, and will, change little lives.

The local cable channel, Radnor Studio 21, did a feature on my riding in the Great Cycle Challenge. The piece aired several times during October. I was so appreciative of the opportunity to share information about this cause.Posted 38 days ago
