I'm Riding For
Multiple Family Members and Friends
I am very fortunate to have survivors in my life; dear family and friends that have faced the challenge of cancer and are still fighting / living life.
My Story
This September 2022, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer - my second year for this great event! This is a great event that is supported by thousands of volunteers each September.
Since it is 2022, and this is my second year participating, I have decided to emphasize the number 2 in this year's challenge. I am doubling my contribution from last year; I am also doubling my mileage goal from 150 miles in September to 300 miles this year. I am also doubling my fundraising goal...do you see where this is going?
I need your help again this year. If you supported me and the GCC last year, would you double your support this year? I would also love to double the number of sponsors / supporters this year, so please consider a donation if you haven't contributed previously. You will be able to follow my progress in September on various social media posts on FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Thanks in advance for your support. Just as a quick reminder - the reason we do this.
Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. WE CAN MAKE AN IMPACT THIS YEAR. Won't you join me in this fight? We all know kids and families that have been impacted by cancer, so let's put an end to this.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
