Thea Anderson

a brave and spunky young warrior-princess from Canada who waged a valiant war on leukemia. She went home last year to be with her Beloved. She continues to inspire me.

My Story

25 Jun 2021

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! And again this year i am honored to be riding in memory of Thea Anderson.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

Well, the month of September has almost come to an end. Half way through, I was attempting to complete 100 of my 200 mile commitment. But my bike slipped out from under me on a wet driveway and I broke my hip. I now have a brand new left hip, and a son-in-law who has agreed to finish my miles! Thank you Brian Henry. Bless you.

a Great Big Thank You to the supporters who have rallied behind me to raise money for research into kids cancer. We can beat it. We MUSt beat it.

Praying for the kids, the parents, siblings, families, nurses, doctors, researchers.
