This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! More than likely, my husband will ride with me. My goal is 100 miles, which is what I rode last year.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

I am always very careful about who I donate to, and did some research on this organization and they are Guide Star, BBB and Charities Review council approved. Their management only uses 5.6% of the funds collected, which is extremely low in the charity industry.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through the challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
