This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. I know, because I have been there. At the age of 9 months I was diagnosed with Hepotoblastoma, which is a type of liver cancer. My very first session of chemo was with a drug called cysplatin. This drug took part of my hearing, but only helped a little. I have had every type of chemo that works on that cancer. I then underwent 25 sessions of radiation because the cancer traveled to my lung. This fight took me over 2 years, BUT the great news is, I have been in remission for nearly 3 years. Only 2 years to go until I can celebrate beating the odds. Prayers are appreciated for making it to this milestone.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their

work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
