I'm Riding For
Bob Williams
I'm riding for my dad who has always been my fitness inspiration. He ran endless races and marathons, participated in bike events and triathlons, and was always doing something active. He entered a sudden battle of stage 4 cancer during 2017, and lost the ability to use his legs only week after diagnosis. He eventually returned to God on December 12, 2017 where I pray that he is running, riding, and doing all of the things he loved in this life. Over the past 2 1/2 years following his passing, I have struggled with depression, injuries, and my weight. But he would want me to get back up and keep trying to move ahead. I will ride on behalf of him, and all of the others who are too ill to do so on their own. Cancer is ugly, but my dad, these children, and all others and the families who endure this disease are beautiful. I can't cure cancer, but I can do this. Love you dad! This is, and always will be, for you!
